A living songbook for circles and ceremonies
SongTree is a free online songbook of mantras, rainbow songs, sacred chants and devotional songs. Our mission is to archive and catalogue the world's most beautiful sacred songs, and make them available for singing circles and ceremony leaders worldwide.
What you'll find here
Every song on SongTree comes with carefully aligned lyrics and chord charts you can sing from directly. Chords can be transposed to any key in your browser. Where we know the story or origin of a song, we share it — so the tradition stays alive alongside the melody. You can also export songs as PDF for printing and sharing. If you see a song that could use an update, or if you have a song to share, you can submit edits and new songs directly on the site.

Maintained by the community
SongTree is initiated by Derk de Geus and maintained by the SongTree community. The songs themselves belong to their creators and traditions — many are passed down through oral tradition and have travelled the world unattributed. We take care to credit each song properly where possible, and to link to its original sources if known.
Each song's copyright is indicated on the song's page. If you have an update, a correction, or a missing credit to share, please leave a suggestion in the comments on that song or drop us an email.
